  • Here’s a highlight from – Engineers Without Borders: Engineers Without Borders is an organization that strives to use engineering-based knowledge to solve real-world issues all around the globe. The Arizona State University chapter of E.W.B. has pushed to use lessons learned in class to aid communities in Pune, India and Shonto, Arizona. The Arizona based projects have begun taking trips to the site in order to gain more in-depth knowledge of the area and the needs of the community. From solar panel arrays to water pumps, the Shonto based projects utilize a wide variety of skills and specialties. Over in India, our club is working on building wells in order to provide the local community with a clean source of drinking water. Outside of the projects themselves, the organization works with industry professionals and local companies to foster professional development for our members. Whether it be presentations, workshops, or tours of local businesses, coordination with professionals in engineering fields enables our members to learn new skills or gain more insight into prospective careers. Contact Samuel Binkley, Outreach Chair, to connect with E.W.B.!

Get Involved in Fulton K12 Outreach Programs (details attached): We are looking for industry partners to support outreach by participating in programs, such as Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) High, Young Engineers Shape the World, First Lego League, Girls Make-A-Thon and others.

Feel free to reach out to us at the Fulton Schools of Engineering Career Center with any questions you have. We’re always happy to help!
