ASU Poly Robotic Art and Music Design Reviews - 3/1
Monday, 3/1/2021 — All day, or time not known

I am writing to invite you to help review the “Robotic Art and Music" embedded systems designs by our electrical and robotics students at ASU Poly as part of their semester projects for the Embedded Systems Design Project II course. We have 16 teams of junior and senior electrical and robotics students who were challenged to design and prototype fully-functioning embedded systems, and are excited to share their designs for your critique! Students are working together in teams of 4 to design robotic art and music devices, with the added challenge that their devices must connect over the Internet since nearly none of the teams have ever met their team members in person! Based on what we learned about virtual teaming during the pandemic during the fall, we have made a number of changes and are excited to share with you the intermediate products of our students’ work.

As future engineers, it is important for students to learn not only how to present their work, but to see examples of professionals critiquing designs in a formal design review setting. We would like to invite you to participate in virtual design reviews of student projects via Zoom on one (or more) of the following days next week:

Monday, March 1
• 9 - 10:15 AM (5 teams presenting)
• 12 - 1:15 PM (3 teams presenting)

Wednesday, October 21 [Ed: this is the text as I received it, but its on 3/3.]
• 9 - 10:15 AM (5 teams presenting)
• 12 - 1:15 PM (3 teams presenting)

If you are available to help, please sign up at the following link:

Thank you very much for your support of our program and students!

Best regards,
